Trust for Public Land is engaging with communities across California’s Central Valley to address park quality and leverage parks as a strategy to improve public health, climate, economic and social outcomes. This grant program funds community organizations and government entities to activate parks as welcoming spaces for nearby residents; improve local park quality; connections to regional open spaces; and amplify community engagement efforts related to park equity, access and building social connection. Applications are due January 19, 2026.
